1.Engineering is a Marathon, Not a Sprint
Unlike your intermediate or school days, engineering is more about understanding and applying concepts rather than just memorizing and reproducing answers. You’ll deal with labs, mini-projects, internals, externals, and various activities. Take it slow and steady. Start building habits that support consistency—like attending classes regularly, taking short notes, and revising weekly.
2.Set Goals from the 1st Year
It’s easy to go with the flow and enjoy college life—and yes, you should! But it’s equally important to have clarity about your future.
Ask yourself:
- Do I want to go for a job after B.Tech?
- Should I prepare for GATE or GRE?
- Am I interested in government exams?
- Or should I look into entrepreneurship?

You can do this by having a weekly schedule:
